Food Main

Food and exercise are two of the biggest contributors to a person’s health, and the saying, “You are what you eat,” is actually quite true. What about food today makes correct eating such a challenge? Is it the fact that almost everything on the market that’s considered a common purchase contains some amount of high fructose corn syrup? Maybe it’s because healthy food is expensive to buy and time consuming to convert into a meal. We should not be too busy to properly nourish our bodies!

Yet, despite the extreme importance of food to a person’s health and wellbeing, it persists as a problematic hurdle for many, many Americans. Saving money and streamlining efficiency are two of our busy society’s main goals. In the food department, though, that translates as buying cheap stuff and getting convenient (aka premade or microwave) meals. Probably not the two optimal stipulations for purchasing wholesome, healthy foods, right? The truth is, food seems harder to control these days. True, you can control what you buy, but not necessarily the condition it’s in when you bring it home from the store.

Knowing this, we would like to encourage you to find answers to some things (by looking through articles we feature on our site or by doing your own research – probably some kind of combination would be best) that will help you. What types of things? Well, let’s take a look…

  • Proper food allotments and portions of daily intake
  • How vitamins help you – in what ways do which ones help the body
  • General information and health benefits of things like juicing, wheat grass, and negative calorie foods
  • Healthy muscles and what type of nutrients muscles really need
  • Proper food combining – what foods are easy for your body to digest together and what foods are difficult for your body to digest together
